Happy Labor Day

It's been a good labor day at our house! It started off eating waffles that Jacob made for breakfast after getting to SLEEP-IN. That was such a treat!! Thanks to our great friends who babysat for Nathan last night! His first over-nighter, and he did great!

After breakfast, it was off to get Nathan then to Chick-Fil-A for a free lunch - did you wear your favorite sports team's logo to get a free sandwich, too? They even gave one to Nathan for wearing his Clemson jersey!

After lunch, it was nap time for a little boy while Mommy finally unpacked the bathroom, painted the cabinets and started to finish the wall paint. And Daddy took his daily trip to Lowes and fixed the plumbing in the sink.

Then there was football to be watched, and snacks to be eaten as little boy snuggled with his daddy. You'd have thought Nathan was in heaven!

While little boy ate dinner, and Mommy worked on the pantry, Daddy started putting doors on the kitchen cabinets - yea!! Our kitchen is finally looking more like a kitchen and less like a workshop/storage area.

It's 8pm. Almost time for a little boy to head to bed, followed shortly by both his parents. It's been a busy - and yet relaxing - labor day.

We're so thankful to God for all He's provided for us. The home He's blessed us with is getting further along every day. The little boy He's given us amazes us with how much he learns so quickly. The little girl He's giving us is still growing healthy and active. And everything else in life He's working out like only He can. We are truly blessed!
