Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday our church has an Easter Egg hunt.
Nathan was practiced and ready to go! But he was much more captivated by all the other people than the eggs!

So his Daddy helped him get started looking for eggs.

And away he went! Just like a pro! I wonder if theres any chance that Easter Egg Hunting might be an Olympic sport one day... Nathan could train for that!

Especially if it were a full-contact sport... our little line backer just might win gold!

But at this Easter Egg Hunt, he kept to himself and collected all the eggs he could find!

He wasn't sure what to make of taking a photo with his friend, Mary Beth. (Who is almost exactly 1 year older, and still considerably smaller than him!) I think he was wondering what all these people were doing at his hunt.

After all the eggs were found, it was time to open them up! And see what he'd scored!

Jacob's saying "Oh look! More Daddy candy" He said that for just about every egg he opened... in fact I don't think he let Nathan open any himself. Daddy wasn't in much of a sharing mood ;-)

But Nathan didn't follow in his father's example. He was willing to share with his sister!

One of Nathan's Easter eggs had play-clip-on earrings. They matched his shirt. Too funny!

Then it was time to go home, enjoy some lunch, and maybe steal some of Daddy's candy back ;-)
