I'd gotten some plastic eggs and lots of easter candy the other week, to make recruitment goodie bags for local real estate agents, to get them "egg"-cited about a new home inspector in the area (my husband!). So we got the few left over empty eggs - and a couple eggs that had candies in them, and went outside for our egg hunt!
I think we played 20 times.
Faith just watched from her bumbo seat, while she played with the grass.
But around the 20th game... Nathan discovered some of those eggs had CANDY in them! GAME OVER! It was time to sit and eat!
And open all the other eggs, in hopes of finding more jelly beans!
Once inside, he opened the rest of the eggs while out of my sight and made a big sticky mess with all the jelly bean goo. No wonder he wasn't so interested in lunch that day!
But at least he's ready for tomorrow's big hunt!
Although... now he might just find one, sit in the grass to immediately open it. And eat whats inside, paying no attention to the fact that there are other eggs to hunt for, too!
