HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
If you're a mom, I hope you're day was as great as mine :)
Saturday, while I napped, the kids made Mother's Day cards.
Personally, I wonder if they thought their faces were the cards...
based on all the stickers on their faces! lol
Nathan also had a great time "tracing" his & his sister's hands.
And Faith enjoyed his attention!
They were so excited to give me their cards on Sunday morning!
And after we were all dressed, I tried to take a photo of the kids...
That didn't work. It rarely does.
But they looked so cute and happy when the camera wasn't pointed at them!
Yes... Nathan's got a flower in his hair, too. hehe
He wanted one, too. But we didn't let him goto church with it in!
When we got home, it was time for naps.
But try telling that to the kids... they thought the 15 minute nap in the van was enough.
I've got some funny pictures to show you another day from nap time today...
but let's just say I was the only one who took a nap on Mother's Day (thanks Jacob!).
And after naps, I got an unexpected present!
One downfall to moving...
packing tape is all too readily available for certain daddy's to wrap gifts in!
But we got it open! Nathan was so excited.
Until he saw it did nothing. It doesn't open. It doesn't make sounds.
It doesn't have wheels. It doesn't have lights. It doesn't have pictures.
It's not even good for throwing across the room. It's boring.
But Mommy loves it!! A 500 GB hard drive!! YAY!!
Thank you, Jacob (and kids)!
It was a great Mother's Day with my kids.
I am so blessed to have the title of Mother!
And I'm even more blessed to have an incredible mom to learn from,
talk to, share stories with, and have as an example to me.
And so blessed to have a great Mother-in-Law, too -
who was so wise and loving in raising such an amazing man - Jacob! :)
Happy Mother's Day!!

We got a friend to try to take a family photo of us at church.
And again, the kids turned into grumps when the camera was pointed at them.
Oh well.
We had Faith dedicated at church today.
I'll post pictures from that another day.
After church, we went out to eat, and the kids were sweet and cute in the parking lot:
They loved lunch and ate up so well.
Even wore much of their pudding dessert home... lol
Within moments of being in the car, they we're out like a light!
When we got home, it was time for naps.

The kids were eager to help me open it -
and bang on the letter from Jacob, to make it harder for me to read.
