We had a first today. Nathan was playing with a rattle in the nursery while laughing at a baby that was laying down. He army crawled over to the baby and bopped her on the head with his rattle!! All the while, apparently, laughing and having a grand ole time. Thankfully the other baby was just fine, it didn't even phase her and left no marks. He didn't hit her hard at all. The nursery staff tell me that he watched as they checked out the baby's head and continued to laugh as he went back to the baby and gently stroked her head! Too funny!
I wonder what's in store for his baby brother or sister... I'm sure in 7 months he'll be more aware of the damage he can do with a rattle on purpose... but maybe he'll continue to care enough to be sure his sibling is ok after the battle :)

I just found your blog tonight and couldn't help but to notice you're from around the Gaffney, SC area! I grew up in Spartanburg and still visit Inman, SC! I love the blog! We are also expecting our 2nd child, a girl. 3 more months!
