Wow... Nathan is 9 months old. 3/4 of a year old already! And he still looks more like a 2 year old :)
Here are his 9 month stats:
* He's 26.5 lbs.
* He's 31 inches long/tall.
* He has 7 teeth (4 on top, 3 on bottom).
* He's is quickly outgrowing many of his size 18 clothes and progressively fitting in more 24 month things. Some 2T pants fit perfectly, too.
* He is army crawling great - but still not on his hands & knees, like a traditional crawl. He can go from the living room to the nursery in under a minute.
* He can go from laying to sitting and back again, with ease.
* He can pull himself up.
* He can slowly take some steps, with assistance. But his balance is still very shaky.
* His favorite food is... anything. Although finger foods are still toys and not food to him.
* His favorite new discoveries this month are... rolling around on and wrestling the the giant stuffed cow his Uncle Jr gave him at Christmas, banging blocks together or against things to make loud noises, screaming & squeeling with joy while he plays on his own, and trapping the kitties in the kitchen - hehe.
* He's happy 90% of the time - and you can tell because he's smiling and often blowing bubbles or blowing through his closed lips when he's most content.
* He's been sleeping through the night for over 2 weeks now!! WOO HOO!!! How did that happen? I finally figured out he's not an every 3 hour baby... he's a 2 hour baby... he eats every 2 hours! We rotate the bottle & solids, and if he eats every 2 hours, come 9pm, he's good to go till 8am!!! So he is getting 32 oz of formula & 12-15oz of solids a day. No wonder he's growing!
* He knows the word "no" - or at least our tone of voice when we say it. He also recognizes his Daddy's voice faster than he sees in across the room. I wonder if he's doomed to wear glasses in the future, like his parents.
* His vocabulary has grown from "ahbra" to more mm & dd sounds. But still no "mama" or "dada" yet.
And he is all around a fantastic son who brings great joy & insanity to our lives :) It's hard to fathom what live was like just 10 months ago...
