Earlier this week, I played hide & seek with the kids. I hid in the coat closet and shouted out, "You can't find Mommy!" The kids went running & laughing through the house as they tried to find me.
Every 30 seconds, or so, I'd shout out, "Mommy's in the kitchen!" or "Mommy's in the hallway!" or "Mommy's in the playroom!" and every time, the kids would fall for it and go running to see. When they couldn't find me, I'd pop my head out of the closet and shout another location. Finally they found me - but not before I had to shout out that I was in the coat closet... ha They don't quite understand the game ;)
The kids wanted turns hiding. And soon I realized I should get this on video... So while Faith hid in a box, and Nathan "hid" by standing tall in the middle of the playroom, with a blue toy basket on his head, I pulled out the camera... :)
My apologies for all the shakiness, I was juggling the camera and a baby at the same time - and sometimes Ruth was juggling the camera as she grabbed for it! You'll hear her babbling lots - it's a wonder that the kids never found me when such a noisy baby was hiding with me ;)
