Love from Michigan

Earlier this year, Sears had an awesome sale on kids winter clothes. I was able to snag a little girls' winter coat for about $9 ($7 after cash back from Ebates - love that site!)!! I can't get a used coat for $7! So, of course, I grabbed a coat. They had a few colors and styles available. I let Faith pick one out - she picked this one:

Cute, huh? It's even cuter in person! I got a size 5, thinking it'll fit her for the next two winters. 

I think it will.  

I was so tickled about the price, that I forgot one very important little detail..... to have it mailed to us in TEXAS. Instead, it was sent to the last place I had a Sear's purchase sent.... MICHIGAN. (when I sent Aunt Kristen's shower gift to her parents for her bridal shower)

And, a week later, I got a call from Michigan! Guess who had a very cute little girl's winter coat?? Yup, my brother's in-laws :)  I was tempted to tell them to keep it, but their grandson probably wouldn't want to wear pink... ha  They were kind enough to save it and put in the mail to us. And they surprised us with gifts for all the kids in the package, too!! They spoiled our kiddos - THANK YOU so much for the unexpected blessings :)

 Nathan was beyond excited about his present - wrapped in Cars paper, with Cars stickers, too. 

Few things can beat Cars, in Nathan's opinion.... BUBBLES is definitely one of those things!!!

He LOVES his bubble gun - and it works really good, too!

Then Nathan was all too willing to help Faith open her present.

If you ask Faith, there is NOTHING better than Bubbles!

And Ruth wasn't left out, either.

The Hills gave Ruth a beautiful little outfit.

It's the perfect size - just a little too big so she's got room to grow.

And it's the perfect color - Nathan's favorite color, yellow. And Faith's favorite color, pink. :)

Nathan likes to point to it and remind me that it's "lello" all the time ;-)

 We headed outside and played with the bubbles right away.

But somehow I managed to only get Nathan in the photos....

Faith was there - usually the target of the bubbles gun... lol

Which she loved! And she still insists on taking her cow toy to nap with her each day ;-)

YAY for bubbles!! And YAY for wonderful friends who spoil us and our kids.
