Making Memories

I tried to post this the other day... but it took too long to upload. So I got it today with the help of youtube. I think I'm behind in just about everything at the moment... I know I haven't posted about Nathan in forever. And I'm behind on Lessons from Mommyhood... It's been one very hectic week around here - getting ready for VBS. You're coming, right?!?!?!?! And volunteering?!??! And you've pre-registered your kids?!?!?! :)

Anyways, it's been a fun week... but an exhausting one. Last night Jacob passed out on the living room carpet and I almost did the same on the sofa... Nathan was still going like the energizer bunny. And we were both praying for some signal... some sign... of tiredness. It didn't come. So he was forced to bed shortly after 10pm. We were wiped. He wanted to keep going! That's one of the few nights he fought bedtime sleep. The one night Jacob & I had to fight to stay awake!

Well, anyways, it's been a great week and we've made some fun family memories too... this one is a must share... If you're getting this through email, stop, go to the blog and watch this video. Then laugh your self silly! I did! But I got to see it in person :)

Here's the story.... I came home the other night from some evening meetings. Jacob was home with Nathan. I walk up the driveway and hear some kind of music. I thought it was a neighbor. But as I got closer, I realized it was coming from my house. What was Jacob watching on TV and why was is so loud?!?

I walked in the door to this... they were listening to the mexican music radio channel and having a grand time. Enjoy!

Quick notes... pay no attention to all the clutter in the house that's not put away! And pay no attention to the fact that my son is wearing a 3T shirt!!!! No, he hasn't outgrown 2T. But that 3T doesn't look too big, does it? Ahh! Oh, and I just noticed... after watching a dozen times with Nathan - who LOVES to watch it! - that there's a moocher begging at our back door in the video, too. I think that's Cousin Louie. But I get them confused. There's about 8 now that come and beg...
