A Weekend with Gramma & Grampa

This weekend Kim's parents came into town for a short visit with Nathan. We know better than to think they come to see us... no... just Nathan :) He loved seeing them - and it helped that he was starting to really feel better, had been able to rest on Friday and that his Daddy was around to help make Grampa seem less intimidating!

We hung out Saturday morning and played Jacob's Wii... long story I'll share later, but it was a birthday/father's day gift that he discovered early... so why not pull it out and enjoy it early?? :) Nathan had fun watching everyone play!

Then Saturday afternoon we headed towards Clemson to see Kim's cousins, John & Shanon. We had a cook out and went swimming in their pool. It was Nathan's first time in a pool and I think he'd still be in there if it were up to him! He loved it!

Nathan LOVED the pool! But that wasn't too big of a surprise to us. He loves water any where as long as he gets to play with it!


And play he did! Daddy shot him with it, too!


And he relaxed with Gramma on a floating mat.


Really, he relaxed.

Sunday after church, Nathan loved to hang upside down on Gramma.


And sit on her head, too! He thought that was great!


Gramma's head didn't necessarily think so, though!


And Nathan fell back in love with his Grampa this weekend!


There's no one better to snuggle with!


Well... except maybe Mommy! :)
