Friends told me, before Faith was born, that child #2 grows up so much faster than #1. Boy were they ever right! I can't believe Faith is already 3 months old. Although she's still smaller than Nathan was as this age, she's grown so big at the same time.
Here are a few of her 3 month stats:
* She's 13 lbs (4 1/2 lb lighter than Nathan was)
* She's 24'' long (2 inches shorter than Nathan was)
She's still wearing size 0-3 month clothes, although a few 3-6 month outfits fit her well enough to wear. Mostly because her legs are so long - too long for most 0-3 month footed outfits.
But her feet are still tiny - still barely a size 1 in shoes. I tried to get her to wear her size 1 brown shoes to church again this morning, but they just won't stay on. She'll grow into them though.
In the last two weeks, she seems to have grown so much. Overnight, it seemed, she finally gained great control of her head and can hold it up as long as she wants now.
And last week she started rolling over, from her belly to her back. In fact, I can't lay her on her belly - while she's awake - without her rolling over within a moment or two. And it's usually onto her left side first.
She's recently discovered she can put weight on her legs, too. But we haven't tried putting her in the doorway bouncy seat, or the exersaucer yet. I'm sure she'll love those things - as Nathan did - when she gets in them soon.
And Faith is little Miss Smiles. All the time. She's got the greatest little toothless smile in the world! :)
