Frosty the Snowman

Nathan wasn't a fan of the snow last week in Maryland... and he wasn't a fan of it last March either...or last January... but how would he react to snow in Ohio???

Well, it started out ok as he got dressed in the basement...

And when Daddy let him ride the sled down to the barn, he didn't cry or scream!

But there also was no smile or giggle as they attempted to sled down the hill. Maybe it was because there wasn't enough snow on the hill for the sled...

But he still wouldn't crack a smile when Daddy started throwing snowballs at Mommy...

In fact, I don't think his facial expression ever changed...

Even a tractor ride couldn't get him to crack a smile!

Even after 4 laps around the yard!

Or while he watched his Mommy build a snowman...

Or while his Daddy tried to bury him in snow... although he did start to cry!

But Mommy rescued him... and Daddy added a face and arms to the snowman so at least the snowman was now smiling.

I guess we're really raising a southerner. He really doesn't like the snow. Or cold. Jacob is sure that will change in time. But until then, Nathan is thankful we live in the south where snow is a rare occurance.
