For all our northern friends, 6 inches may as well be 50 in the south. The world stands still. Jacob's work called to say they were closing and so we had an extra family day, with no where to go, nothing to do, and 6 inches of fresh snow to play with! What a great day!
Here are some pictures from our morning in the snow:
Sunday night it started to fall. 1 inch... 3... 4... and still coming! We woke to find 6 inches!
Bundling up for the snow! Thermal onsie, under winter PJs, under a sweater and pants, under a hoodie and sweatpants. Add a pair of shoes that are one size too big to accomodate those bundled toes, and Nathan is the size of a 4 year old ready to go!

Now THIS is a snow angel... no mud in sight! But Nathan still wasn't so happy about laying in the snow...
Jacob built Nathan a snow fort!

After I put Nathan down for a nap, I found this in the backyard... Jacob is still working on his fort. Notice the tongue - he's really working hard! :)
