New Talent

Almost as soon as Nathan started his army crawl (which still hasn't moved to hands & knees crawling yet), he started trying to pull up on the coffee table. He hasn't succeeded... he can't quite figure out what to do with those legs... but he's close. Real close.

Saturday we fought naps all day. He took one 1 hour nap. So he spent a lot of time in his crib, with us trying to get him to nap... with no success. While playing in his crib, he discovered he can pull himself into a kneeling position...

He discovered that the crib tastes really good (good thing it came with those teeth mark protectors!)

And he even discovered he can pull himself to a standing position! But he really really didn't like it - mostly because his foot got stuck. He didn't try again. But I'm sure it won't be long before he figures out how to do it safely.

So... it was time to lower to the crib! And get rid of the mobile. Wow does it look different in there now.... Jacob lowered the crib.

And Nathan tried to help with the tools :)

* sorry for the blur in the middle of all the pics... my lens was dirty... I didn't realize it. It's clean now :)

Look out ... he will soon figure out how to get his leg over the crib bar and escape. Your brother learned this very early and there was no stopping him once he realized there was freedom on the other side of the bars!
