I met a friend at Monkey Joe's Monday afternoon. Nathan was pretty timid about running around to play. He much preferred to sit on my lap and play with a balloon that he stole from some unsuspecting child ;-) And chew on things... Nikki looked at him at one point and said "he's got something in his mouth." I pulled it out... expecting balloon ribbon... no... it was a used bandaid. EWWW!!!!! If only hand-sanitizer worked for the insides of mouths, I would have poured a gallon in!! GRRRR-OOSSSS!
Not all of Monkey Joe's was gross - he did step out a little to explore some of the preschool-sized inflatables, once most of the people left and the place calmed down a bit. He had fun! Too bad it was 10 minutes before closing when he finally realized this was a fun place to play! :) Maybe they'll bring free Mondays back again soon and we can go earlier in the day!
He was a little unsure of the bouncy floor at first, but soon came to enjoy it!
Although he must preferred to "slide" down the steps!
He loved Elmo, too! That's him giving Elmo a big hug :)
