Corny

Nathan loves corn. Who am I kidding... Nathan loves FOOD. But corn is high on his list of favorite foods. He just needs to learn to chew it better! If you know what I mean.... his diaper sure knows!

This past weekend we got a bunch of corn on sale for 10 cents an ear! Woo hoo! LOVING produce prices in Texas! So Nathan helped me shuck them and then Daddy cooked them up!

He liked helping out at first.

But he got frustrated with husk easily.

He was determined not to give up, though!

A few times, he tried to eat it right off the cob - before it was cooked.

But he decided that wasn't so good.

So it was back to helping shuck the other ears for him.

He really did a great job, once he got the hang of it.
And then when it came time to eat it,

he had no problem cleaning his plate, or devouring 2nds & 3rd, too!
