Double Trouble

During our visit to Gramma & Grampa's, we got to spend some time with one of my childhood friends, Sara. And her family. Her son, Ethan is 7 months older than Nathan and they absolutely loved playing together. And finding trouble together, too. hehe

Nathan tried to teach Ethan to play Mario Kart on the Wii. Ethan had never played before, and Nathan's getting better than some adults I know! Ok, a lot of adults I know!

Look at those looks full of concentration - so serious!

When the adults were busy talking and playing, Ethan & Nathan went on a hunt for the kitty. I caught them going up the stairs, on my way down after putting Faith to sleep for the night.

I tried to convince them that the kitty wasn't upstairs, they needed to look downstairs. But the moment I turned my back, they were sneaking back up the stairs, looking for the kitty. Check out Nathan's face - does he look guilty, or what. haha! And yes, he has a purple sippy cup... apparently his sister's cups always taste better, even if it's just water. He just likes to steal whatever she has.

So I convince the boys to go downstairs and help them hunt for a kitty. We find one. And I left them to torture it. Uhh... I mean pet it sweetly and lovingly.
But then, a little while longer I hear them playing in the kitchen. I go in, and they run into the bathroom and close the door. If you follow this blog much, you know Nathan and bathrooms - particularly toilets - don't go together well. So I tried to get them out. And, of course, they snuck back in when they thought I wasn't looking.
Oops. Caught again!
Playing in the bathroom wasn't the only thing they thought they could do when I appeared not to be looking!

Yumm... Pie... :)

LOL!
The boys played so well together and absolutely loved each other's company! They even gave each other a big hug when it was time for Ethan to head home that night!

And then tried to do the "manly" thing - and give high-5's. Watching two 2-year-olds try to give each other a high-5 is pretty hysterical. I'm not sure they ever made contact. But they sure did enjoy trying!

Oh, and yes, Nathan is wearing a blue and green plaid shirt with brown and orange plaid pants. Stylish, don't you think? Hey - the PJ pants were close by and handy when he had a diaper blowout. I figured he just might start a new trend ;-)

NOT pooping out your pants... no. Please don't go and do that - especially in public. But wearing two different colors & types of plaid should be the new trend. The mix-matched look. It's in. At least Nathan thinks so :)

Nathan's outfit looks like his Grampa picked it out .... probably thinking it matched :-)
Thanks for posting these -- these two little guys are so much fun to watch!
