Uncle Dave's Gifts

Thanksgiving week, we saw Uncle Dave and he brought Christmas gifts! David got Jacob's name in our family gift-exchange deal. So he brought Jacob's gift with him. And then he also got gifts for Nathan & Faith - though he only brough Nathan's gifts with him. Which turned out great, considering what he got Nathan!

Nathan got Thomas the Train PJs from his Uncle Dave!

And a musical Thomas the Train storybook!

Then he said "THANK YOU" to his Uncle, in sign language.

So what'd Jacob get? The second volume of the book he read this past summer, and 2 6-packs of his favorite ginger ale, ever, Blenhiem Ginger Ale - the hot stuff. It's not available anywhere near where we live, so not he has some more of his favorite soda!

But there was one more gift from Uncle Dave that I must share... it wasn't for me. Or Jacob. Or Nathan or Faith. But for his girlfriend, Kristen. And he didn't give it to her till a week after Thanksgiving. It is shiny and sparkly... and worn on a left ring finger. hehe Yup - Uncle Dave proposed to his girlfriend this past week - and she said "YES!" YAY! Congratulations to Uncle Dave and soon-to-be AUNT Kristen :)
