Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving in Maryland, at Gramma & Grampa's house. Uncle Dave came. And his now fiancee, Kristen. And His soon to be in-laws came too!

Jacob carved the fried turkey while the dogs waited, in anticipation, for him to drop a crumb. They were left empty handed.. or should I say, empty drooling mouthed...

Kristen's father carved the roast turkey. Yup - two turkeys! Hey, there were lots of people :)

And Gidget, the kitty, came looking for droppings, too.
She also left disappointed.

Here's all the happy people, ready to eat all the yummy Thanksgiving food! Well... except Faith, she's not so happy... She was getting over a cold, and teething... poor thing!

When she calmed down, I too her picture. But she still wouldn't smile for me.

And there's Uncle Dave (right) with his fiancee, Kristen, and his soon-to-be in-laws.

So much to be thankful for this year!!

Healthy kids, a great job for Jacob (that he loves!), wonderful friends - both new and old. A great family. Safe trips for everyone. That Kristen said YES to David's proposal! That my Aunt Barb is hanging in there, and my dad is getting better. And, most importantly, that we have a GREAT BIG GOD who pours our His grace and mercy on us, has carried us through the last year (and years), and will be with us whatever our future holds!
