Extreme Makeover - Playroom Edition

Well... I can't really call it "Extreme". We're still renting, so all I can do is rearrange furniture. And so I did!!

Monday night we moved Nathan & Faith into the same bedroom. And turned Faith's room into a playroom. Faith's bedroom has double doors that open into the living room, so it makes a perfect play room. I don't know why I didn't make this move months ago! We love the new set up. And the kids adore sharing a room together!

They're sleeping well at night. They laugh and chuckle some once we leave the room - but soon they're sound asleep. Nap time isn't as easy, but Nathan sleeps in his own bed and Faith sleeps in a pack n' play in the playroom closet. That seems to be working ok, so far.

Here are some photos of our play room make over... don't be fooled. We cleaned up before I took these pictures. And before I could take a photo, toys were already on the ground. I know the room will never been this tidy again. All the more reason to take a photo :)  And be thankful for those double doors we can close at night!

Grampa - Faith LOVES that horse you made years ago.

She would ride it all day if she could... except she thinks

getting on and off of it by herself is just as much fun as rocking it!

And here's some photos of the kids' bedroom now that both kids are moved in and Nathan's toys are moved out.

We took the closet doors off - they never worked well anyways.

But that made room for the chest that had been in the nursery. 

The kids LOVE their new room. I LOVE the playroom. Jacob LOVES that there's no toys in the living at the end of the day. I think our makeover was a hit.

Now, I can't wait to buy a house and make things how we really want them! We're starting to look for a home this weekend and know God has the perfect one out there for us, already set aside for us to buy. I can't wait to see what He does!
