SA Rodeo II

After the rides at the carnival, we walked around the fair grounds. I was looking for the livestock for the kids, but we never found them... instead, we found a kids educational area. They got a bucket and then walked through a play area where they learned about farming, livestock and things like that.

The kids were each suppose to grab a bucket and a fake carrot when they entered... and then "plant" the carrot in the gravel play-field.

Nathan opted to fill his water can with gravel instead... hehe

And Faith opted to wear her bucket!

Next, we walked thru a play hen house, and grabbed a fake egg for the bucket.

There were also play apples to get.

And there was a bag of sheeps wool for the kids to get, too.
As we passed the live sheep.

There was even a fake cow that the kids could milk.

As we left the kids farm area, the kids were each given a bandana.
Auntie Me put one on Faith - who was all too pleased to be wearing it!

Then the kids got free rodeo club shirts at another booth!

Faith felt that belonged on her head, too.

She tried so hard to put it on. And eventually decided it worked well like this. lol

While the kids enjoyed their new shirts, we headed back to the van... the carnival grounds were starting to get crowded. And we were all exhausted. It was a fun afternoon with Auntie M!
