Some of you have asked for Christmas ideas for the kids... please don't feel obligated to get them anything. But if you're wanting to shop for them, here's their sizes & a few ideas:
Nathan's Sizes:
* Shirts - 5 or 5T
* Pants - 4T
* Underwear - boys 6
* Socks - 4T
* Shoes - he's growing into toddler size 12 (he has 12 sneakers and is getting cowboy boots from us)
* PJs - 5 or 5T unless its a tight fitting PJ set, then get 6's.
Faith's Sizes:
* Shirts - 4T
* Pants - 3T or 4T (depends on the length...)
* Dresses - 4T
* Underwear - 3T-4T (she hasn't started potty training yet, but is getting very close!)
* Socks - 3T-4T
* Shoes - toddler 8 (but she has more shoes than she knows what to do with - and plenty to grow into, too)
* PJs - 4T (5T if it's a tight fitting PJ set (those kind usually come in a box)
Gift Ideas for Nathan:
We're getting him cowboy boots and some "real" tools to use with Daddy among some other things. But here's ideas I know he'd love that we can't get this year:
* A real basketball, in kid-size
* DVD of Cars or Cars 2. He loves the characters, but hasn't seen the movies - he'd love them.
* Wii games (preferably an active one, the only one we have is Sports Resort)
* Trains - any kind, not just Thomas characters... If you get any for his train table, be sure they're wooden so they fit his tracks.
* Books
Gift Ideas for Faith:
We're building her a kitchen set, and have some pots & pans for it, too. Here's some other ideas for her:
* Disney princess movies, she doesn't have any and loves the characters - but doesn't know their stories. (Please avoid Princess & the Frog - it's overly anti-christian, from what I hear)
* dressup jewelry and/or hair accessories
* Anything with Dora
* Anything with horses, some plastic toy horses would be fun
* Play food (preferably wood, so it lasts longer), or an apron & oven mits that are her size
* Doll baby accessories. She has a stroller & cradle, but nothing else. She will love acting out what she sees with Mommy caring for her new baby sister soon.
* Books
* Sidewalk chalk & bubble stuff is always a hit with her, too!
Gift Ideas for Baby:
* short sleeve 6 month clothes - most of Faith's old clothes will fit seasonally, except possibly 3-6 months (Faith was in long sleeves when she was that size... and come march, it'll be summer-like again here, and I suspect baby will be in 6 month clothing by march), I've been collecting some clothes here and there, so we really don't need much.
* baby bouncer seat (it's about the only baby equipment we sold before we moved and haven't replaced)
* diapers are always welcome, too ;-)
