Pumpkin Patch Trip

Almost two weeks ago, the kids and I joined some friends at a local pumpkin patch for a fun morning.

We started off our visit with cookies!
The kids loved that idea ;)

There was a giant bucket of corn for the kids to play with.

And farm related cutouts for photos... but the kids didn't understand that they were suppose to stand BEHIND them.

Eventually Nathan got the idea :)

There were lots of pumpkins to take photos with.

One day, I'll figure out a way to get Nathan to look at the camera WITHOUT pointing, too. lol

And there's little miss cutie pie, wearing her favorite cowboy boots.

There were lots of BIG pumpkins to take photos with, too.

Nathan tried his best to pick some up!

Faith gave it a try, too. She lifted the small one.

But could she lift a giant one?? With just one hand?? hehe

We had story time with our friends.

And as much as Faith loves story books, she just can't sit still.
So she was a bad example and tried to distract her friend, Bennet, with a nearby pumpkin.

When that didn't work, she showed him out to pull hay out to play with.

But Bennet was determined to pay attention - like all their other friends around them.
So Faith played with the hay by herself.

Until Bennet complained that she was making a mess.
And so she found another pumpkin to distract him with.
LOL, my little girl... a future model student :)

After storytime, there was a big rock maze to run around in.

And then the kids got to pick a pumpkin to decorate.

They used stickers to make silly faces on their pumpkin.

Here's Nathan's creation!
He was so proud!

The three amigos and their pumpkins.

What a fun morning with friends!
After we left, we headed home for lunch and to meet Gramma & Grampa - they were flying in to visit! I'll post more photos from their visit soon :)
