Our Little Pumpkin

Saturday night we got together with Jacob's Sunday School class for a cookout and pumpkin decorating contest. Nathan got to see many of his adoptive grandmas and he and his daddy each decorated a pumpkin. Here are some pictures from our evening.

Jacob's pumpkin in on the far right. It says "Fall" and has a picture of a pie and leaves. He got lots of compliments - it was really cool.

The backside of Jacob's pumpkin.

Nathan's pumkin was a baby one, the one with the cross in it. He did a great job on it - especially since he napped through carving half of it! I made sure he didn't hurt himself with the knife.

Here's Nathan with his pumpkin. One side had the cross, the other side read "Jesus loves me."

Nathan with adoptive Grandma #1... Sande.
...trying not to spit up 'cause this grandma is scared to death of spit up.

With adoptive Grandma #2... Janice.
...learning the phrase "dry it up."

With adoptive Grandma #3... Carol.
Yet another person trying to brainwash him into loving football.

YEAH! Nathan says he had a great weekend! And now he can't wait to see his REAL grandparents in just 5 days!

I'm chanting Proverbs 14:30 over and over and over after seeing these pictures ...
"A sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones." I love you Nathanael and miss you more than your parents can imagine!! Love, Gramma
