Monumental

This is officially our 500th post to the blog! Wow! I thought about making this post one that highlights some favorite posts of the last 2 years... but... well... there are way too many. And I don't have that much time! But did you know you can scroll down the blog, and click on the archive on the bottom right sidebar to read through older posts? Every once and I while, I do... just to remember how tiny my kids once were, and laugh at some of their adorable pics! I miss that baby-phase, but they're both in awesome stages right now - and I enjoy every moment. Ok, LIAR. I enjoy almost every moment :)

So since I'm not going to link to favorite past posts, I have to share something else monumental... And I have the perfect thing. FAITH IS WALKING!!!!

She started last Wednesday (Oct 6th). She just up and decided it was time, and walked most of the morning away. I never managed to catch it on video, though. Every time I'd take the camera out, she'd refuse to walk. This went on for almost a week. When I tried to get her to walk to me or walk to a toy, she was in such a hurry to get there, she wouldn't walk - she'd crawl. She'll only walk on her terms and gives no warning that she's about to walk. I can't tell you how many video snipets I have of her standing and almost walking... or how many times I got the last step on video before she fell and refused to get up to walk again. But I finally caught her on video this past week. It was evening, and so it's kind of dark. Sorry about that. One day we'll get a real video camera instead of using the record feature on my regular camera.

Also... For the last month or so, I've been posting every day. I hope I didn't get you overly addicted. 'Cause I'm fresh out of daily posts at the moment. I've been putting 10-12 posts together on the weekends, and having them scheduled to post each morning automatically. Today's was the last one scheduled. I've got some new pics to share, but, by no means, will it be daily anymore. Sorry!

But I'll still be posting fairly often. I got to... this is my kids' baby book. I've very slowly been working with a program that converts my blog into a book. One day I'll finish the books and my kids will have baby books... lol
