Saturday, after naps, the kids opened Faith's birthday presents from Gramma & Grampa and Auntie M. Yes, I said "the kids" because Nathan believed they were his presents. Good thing Faith was just happy to play along with all the flying packaging ;-)

"Oh! Gramma & Grampa! You got us packing peanuts!!
AWESOME!! THANK YOU!!!"

"They taste so yummy and crunch in my mouth!"

Under all those packing peanuts was a musical princess truck
which Nathan quickly stole. And "gave" his sister his old truck.

"Thank you, Gramma!! Now I can play with the truck without
my big, mean brother pushing me away! I LOVE IT!" - Faith
"Yes, Gramma & Grampa - I LOVE my new pink truck! THANK YOU!
It makes so many more cool noises than that yellow truck.
I'm going to be the coolest kid on the block, now!" - Nathan

While Nathan played with "his" new truck,
Faith opened her gifts from Auntie M:

"Oooh, a card! Can I eat it?!!? Pretty please???"

"I love this teddy bear!!"
"And the dress, it goes like this... right?"

"And this box is just so darn cool!!!"
"Thank you, Auntie M!"

"Ok... box not so cool anymore...
my brother... he sure can ruin all my fun!"

"Oooh, what is in that other box??"

"Cool... what is it?"

"Here, little sis, let me show you how it works...
in fact... let me have it. Here you can have the packaging..."

"Oh, these gifts are so fun! Thank you Auntie M!"
