Nathan adores to sit on his sister...
Or lay on her...
Or use her as a human ottoman...
He's so lucky that his baby sister is usually patient with him and allows him to get away with these stunts... But at least once a day I have to try to get him off of her.
The conversation usually goes something like this:
Nathan: sits on his sister's back
Faith: cries & screams (and looks at me with those "Mommy do something" eyes)
Me: "Nathan, get off your sister!!"
Nathan: scoots down so now he's sitting on her legs
Faith: more screaming, more looking at me
Me: "Nathan, I said GET OFF YOUR SISTER!"
Nathan: Looks up at me with a "make me" look
Me: "NATHAN GET OFF YOUR SISTER, NOW!!!"
Nathan: scoots down so his head is laying on Faith's legs
Me: "Do you want a spanking? Get off her NOW!"
Nathan: Looks at me with that same "make me" look
Me: Pick Nathan up, spank him and tell him to stop sitting on Faith
Nathan: cries, runs away. Then comes back and sits on Faith again
Faith: screams, cries and gives me that "do something, Mommy!" look
Me: "Nathan, what did I tell you? Get off her now or you're going to your room!"
Nathan: gives me a look that says "me?? I'm not doing anything"
Me: "Last chance... 1... 2....3..."
Nathan: doesn't budge, just keeps looking at me with his "make me" look
Me: pick up Nathan and put him in his room
Me: pick up Nathan and put him in his room
Faith: goes on playing with her toys, thankful that she can move now
And tomorrow we'll probably relive the whole event again...with some variations. Are all big brothers like this to their little sisters? Surely I wasn't this mean when I was his age, right Mom?? :)
