Faith walked around alot - and had help some of the time.

Big brother likes to help her, when he's not pushing her over!

Nathan was very unsure... he still doesn't like the idea of touching animals. Or dirt. Or really anything unfamiliar. How are our kids so opposite? It's funny.

And point at them. Just not touch them.

There was a baby cow to pet!

Can you guess how Faith felt about that?

Yup - LOVED it! And Nathan kept his distance.

I didn't give Faith a chance to pet a baby chick...
she would have squeezed the poor thing to death in her excitement.
But she loved to watch and pet the pigs!

And, again, Nathan kept his distance.

Nathan didn't even want to go in the big Indian Tee Pee!

Are you surprised at Nathan's reaction?
I did eventually get him to touch it - once. And then he was done.

Until he saw that the "train" was really just a tractor pulling barrels.
Then he didn't want to ride.
But he still got in when he saw his Daddy and sister getting in to ride.
moment the barrel train started moving.
Nathan had fun, too. But Faith had a blast!

I'm not sure how much fun Daddy had. Those barrels don't look so comfy. I had fun watching adult's on the ride - none of them looked comfortable! The back of the barrel has a lip, without padding, that presses against your back. And the ride is pretty bumpy! But the kids all loved it!

I never got a good shot of Faith's expression as she rode. But I can imagine the giggles of glee that she had as she rode with her Dadyy!

once he realized he was strong enough to pick them up!
Notice his hands...
he's only touching the pumpkin as much as is necessary... lol
Faith tried to pick up a pumpkin, too!
But she MUCH prefered to crawl around in the dirt,
hay and whatever else she could find to get messy in.
We tried to take some pictures of the kids together.
And we got about as close as we ever get to a good sibling photo!
At least one child's looking at the camera and smiling!
Nathan never wanted to look at the camera,
but he was alright with giving his sister a big ole kiss - aww!
