When Jacob found the kitten, he was tiny and scrawny, obviously hadn't had food in a couple days. We bathed him, treated him for fleas and fed him plenty. Yes, "we" - how could I turn away a helpless kitten??? We were NOT going to keep him. But after being in our home 12 hours, he had absolutely no interest in returning to the great outdoors. And when we found his owners, they didn't want him back either. They already had 10 other kittens roaming around their home. No one else would take him. So he's ours. And Nathan is his.
The kitten gets most jealous when Jacob is holding the baby. He insists on climbing into Jacob's lap too. And now Nathan can't even have tummy time without the kitten joining in! In fact, the kitten has claimed every one of Nathan's toys, with the exception of the crib that he has yet to discover. The pacifier, the bouncy seat, the giraffe, the play yard, the bassinett, etc, they all belong to "Little Dude." Here's some pics... though we never got a pic of him in the bassinett or playing with the mobile and its now at work, so we won't be getting a pic of that for a while. But enjoy the cuteness of these pics. And if you want a kitten, know we have a litter trained, flea free, "good with kids" one just for you!!

Remember that you kitten has claws and if he harms my grandson, he won't have to worry about a home ... home will be "kitty heaven."
