DeAnn's Shower

Saturday we had a baby shower for DeAnn. She thought it was a brunch - she even made one of the casseroles herself! But I think she had an inkling that something was up... something not quite brunch-ish. But a shower? Hopefully she was really surprised!

Baby Felicity will be the first granddaughter to be born - and the 6th grandchild. So it was time to celebrate the opportunity to buy PINK! And celebrate everyone did! It was a fun shower!

DeAnn's youngest son eagerly awaited what his Mommy would open next!

And a pink blanket DeAnn's mother made!

A pink babybook from me... I had no clue it was the one she'd been eyeing to buy herself! Guess old friends still think alike - kind of scary!

"Umm... thats not pink.
And Mommy, it says "butt paste", I don't think it's candy."

"YAY! Look at all the goodies in the basket!"

"No one is looking... maybe they won't notice me taking one..."

"...and eating it!"

Mrs. Stacy held her ears, afraid of the balloon pops that might come.

Babies & preschoolers had the balloons... why would she be afraid of a pop? This was Nathan's first experience with a helium balloon - he was captivated by it!


And his friend was captivated by the monsterous kitty cat!


We had a great time at DeAnn's shower. Thanks to my mom for hosting it and all the ladies for the great food! It was great to see everyone!
