We had corn on the cob with dinner tonight. And I had lots of help shucking the ears!
This was Faith's first attempt at it.
I think she thought her reindeer nose would help her.
She wears that thing everyday - she'd wear it all day if I let her!
When it's not on her nose, it's a necklace. Or a hat.

Silly little girl :)
After all the work, Faith wanted a taste.
Daddy let her, thinking she wouldn't want a 2nd bite.
Wrong!! She wanted a 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc.
And got rather upset when we told her they needed to be cooked.
Nathan even loved it raw, too!
He was just as unhappy when the ears were taken away to cook.
But then, at dinner, the kids ate up! For the first time we let them eat off the cob, and they both did awesome. Faith ate an entire ear herself! She probably would have had more, but she took too long whining about having to eat her meatloaf first... she had to clean her plate before she could have the 2nd half of her ear. And by the time she ate her meatloaf, all the other ears were gone.
Nathan had no problem cleaning his plate so he could have more corn.
In fact, he ate two whole ears himself (4 halves)!
What can I say, we've got corny kiddos :)
