After an adventure on airplanes that morning and early afternoon,
we got to Granny & Pa's farm and Pa took the kids to go meet the horses.
I knew Faith would love them! But I was worried how Nathan would react.
Quite surprisingly, Nathan LOVED the horses right away!
He even fed a carrot to one with his Pa's help.

Even more surprising, Faith wanted nothing to do with the horses!
But, in her defense, it's been a long day. The day started way too early, and we had two plane trips and a car ride to get to Granny & Pa's house - so she was a little tired.
From the barn, we headed out to see what Granny was up to.
Granny was mowing the lawn - and welcomed the "help" from Nathan!
And then Faith got to help out a lot, too!
While I taught Nathan to help me make silly faces at his sissy while she rode the lawn mower with Granny. hehe
Soon it was time to head inside for dinner and bed.
We had a busy day - and tomorrow would be full of more new experiences and fun!
