While we waited for the wedding to start, Nathan pushed his sister in a porch swing (aww)
And then the kids rediscovered the gravel driveway - so many ROCKS!
Oh, how the kids love rocks!
Soon it was time for the wedding, so we headed up the hill to sit down.
Nathan was bored of his tie by then, but not bored of holding his sister's hand - such a sweetie!
I reminded the kids that their job was to be quiet and watch for Daddy.
Jacob was a groomsman - and the kids were excited to watch him approach.
And they loved watching all the people - and pretty dresses -
as they came up the hill and walked down the aisle!
Here comes the bride, Monica, escorted by her father.
Junior & Monica getting married!
The flower girls sisters were adorable - I couldn't help but snap a pic as they watched the wedding.
"You may now kiss the bride"
Junior actually tipped her backwards, but I missed that on camera.

Mr & Mrs Jeff Wuenschel!
Junior - you can relax now ;-)

While they took photos, the kids played under Daddy's legs.
Then when Daddy was in photos, the kids played on the big rocks.
Monica in her wedding dress and cowboy boots ;)
Pa snuggled with a tired Faith as they watched the photographs being taken.
And Uncle Josiah helped entertain the kids by teaching them
to squish dead leaves in their fingers, hehe
Pa, Faith, Nathan & Granny
and everyone's looking at the camera - a small miracle!!

Once photos were done, we headed down the hill, to the reception for lunch
Great Grandma made the wedding cake!
Carrot cake, chocolate cake & yellow cake.
Carrot cake, chocolate cake & yellow cake.
It was very yummy!
Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Wuenschel!
Nathan soon learned that the clanging of glass meant "kiss"
But he thought it meant "kiss mommy"
So he clanged his glass a couple times, then came over to kiss me
Over and over
And over again! It was sweet!
Daddy and his kiddos
The only dancing planned was for the bride & groom
But Faith had other plans. Even if no one else danced, she was still going to!
Cutting and sharing of the cake
Nathan sat up close and watched the cake cutting.
You can't tell in this photo, but the stairs were immediately in front of the cake table - so he couldn't have been closer! He'd had his eye on that cake all afternoon! And did a good job eating his lunch so he could have a piece. He was not about to take his eyes off the cake, and couldn't understand why it wasn't his turn yet... hehe

But soon it was time for the kids to enjoy cake, too!
Faith ate 1/2 a piece before she had to get back out on the dance floor - she's a riot!
And Nathan? He ate 2 1/2 slices!
And Great Grandma brought the cake platter over for him to clean up, too... lol
Soon little miss wiggle worm came back for more cake.
And just as quickly, she disappeared again.
She'd gone over to Uncle Josiah to bum cake & water off of him - lol!
Here she is telling Uncle Josiah, "I'm a mess"
LOL - that you are, sweet little Faith. An adorable mess!
While Faith took in all of Uncle Josiah's attention,
Nathan and Daddy went closer to Junior & Monica to clang the glass again.
This time, friends and family joined in and it tickled Nathan that so many people followed his lead! I don't even think he noticed that Junior & Monica kissed :)
Soon Granny gave into Faith's pleas to dance
Only all Faith wanted was just to fall backwards and be silly!
Poor Granny's back!
Nathan soon joined in!
Then Aunt Sara came dance, too!
And then Great Grandma got in on the dancing action!
And soon the bride came over for some dancing fun, too!
Faith was successful at getting people to dance!
Who knew so many people would follow a 22 month old's lead? :)
The kids wore everyone else out - but they kept on dancing themselves!
As the clean up crew came through, Nathan & Faith were still fully of giggles and wiggles!
Then 2nd cousin Silas started a pretend boxing match with Aunt Sara, and Nathan and Faith joined in as they chased poor Aunt Sara around the room (I wish I'd gotten a better pic, cause it was cute).
Soon the reception was over, and we all headed back to the hotel to rest and have more fun. I'll post more pictures and stories in the coming days :)
CONGRATULATIONS JUNIOR & MONICA!
It was a beautiful wedding!
