New Tastes

Sunday, we introduced Nathan to dill pickles. He loved it! It instantly soothed him - was it the cold? the taste? Maybe a combination. So, now he gets a nightly pickle (minus the seeds). I think it depends on his mood as to whether he loves it or makes silly faces at it.

Trying a dill pickle for the first time led to the desire of introducing Nathan to other foods... ok, just one. The lemon! I've been waiting to do this for months ;-) His daddy loves lemons. But Mommy is with the rest of the world - and makes crazy faces. Would Nathan love it or hate it??

"Hey this doesn't taste like my plastic links!"

"What could this thing be??"

"Hmm... its juicy! I think I'll just suck on it for a while and let the juice run all over me."

"Hey, I could learn to like these!"

Ok... so Nathan did enjoy sucking on it a little. But when we helped him get more juice in his mouth, he wasn't so fond of his new toy afterall. But he certainly liked playing with it!
