The day we visited the train museum with Granny & Pa in OH, a newspaper photographer was there. He asked permission to take photos of the kids for a feature on tourism that he was doing for the Conneaut paper. Of course, I agreed :) But I never imagined BOTH kids would get their picture in the paper!!!
Before the week was up, Faith had a huge picture published in the paper! I didn't get to see the full news page, but I think it was a collage of photos about visitors and things to do in Conneaut.
Of the two kids, I figured Nathan had a better shot since the photographer spent 98% of his time photographing him, and only took a few shots of Faith. But here is Faith - in the paper! She's standing in front of a glass window that looks on to a model train set in the museum.
It was a fun surprise to hear Faith was in the paper. But little did we know... just a few weeks later, Nathan would be in the paper, too!!! His photo was smaller, but in color - ooh.
There he is, wearing his new engineer's hat from Granny and watching the model trains go by with awe.
Thanks, Granny & Pa, for catching the photos and saving them for our kids' baby books!!
