I know most of you cannot make it (it stinks to live so far away), but I still want to invite you all to her birthday party - in case you can come! We're throwing a birthday party for Faith on Saturday, October 22nd at a local kids amusement park Kiddie Park. It's the oldest kids' park in the US, and has a ton of stuff for toddlers. Faith's actually never been - but I know she'll love it :)
A few people have asked about what to get Faith for her 2nd birthday. PLEASE don't feel the need to get her anything!! She's spoiled as it, lol. And just really loves talking to people on the phone and skype - that is the best gift to give her!!
But if you're looking for other ideas, here's a few. Faith LOVES to dress up. I mean, this girl LOVES to dress up. Here she is wearing not one, but 4 outfits:
She's a mess - and she'll tell you so. lol
It doesn't matter what it is, she loves to put it on.
And she's not picky. Daddy's dirty socks... Nathan's PJs...
Or underwear, worn as a shrug. LOL
I told you, "she's a mess!"
So Faith's in no short supply of clothes to wear. But she doesn't have a lot of play jewlery or any play shoes. I know she'd adore those things!! Especially play shoes! She also is in love with things that go in her hair - bows, flowers, headbands, hats. Anything she can put on her head.
Other ideas...
* We're getting her a wooden play kitchen, and she'll need some play food & little pots/pans.
* she's starting to catch on that Nathan has a big wheel bike and she doesn't, so something small enough to fit her if you're looking to splurge. She has the coordination to ride it, too.
* or anything with Dora - or especially Dora's friends Boots (a monkey) and Swiper (a fox) on it.
* she also loves horses and puppies and doesn't really have any play animals besides a few stuffed ones.
