Daytrip to See Some Greats

Back in November, we took a day trip to north of Austin to visit some of Jacob's family. His Grandmother had recently had shoulder surgery and was staying with Jacob's Aunt MaryBeth and her husband while she recovered (before returning home to OH).

We arrived just in time to help Great Aunt Marybeth make some brownies!

While Faith pretended to be shy, Nathan played the role of big helper.

He even helped clean the mixing spoon - what a great helper ;-)

Faith opened her birthday present from Great Aunt Marybeth.
A pink hat with some beautiful flowers to go in her hair!

Faith loved (and still enjoys) wearing her new hat.
And the decorative flower petals that the gift was packed in made for a great toy - playing with Great Grand mama as they threw them in the air over and over and over again.

We attempted to take a photo.... ha ha ha.
Can I just say how much I do NOT miss the camera that took this blurry pic. I love my new camera :)  And, unlike how they all appear to be having a terrible time, the kids (and Great Grand Mama) all had a great visit!

When it came time to leave, there were lots of hugs.
Hopefully we'll get to see you all again soon!
