Taylor Family Visits

My family all came in to visit us for New Years - we had a 2nd Christmas that weekend! It was so great to see everyone. And wonderful to have all the help: family to entertain the bigger kids and help ease them into having a baby sister, and help around the house.

I knew c-section recovery would be rough, but it never dawned on me about HOW it would be rough. I never stopped to think that sitting, getting up and even walking would be hard and painful for the first two weeks. I know... what was I thinking? I wasn't. So it was GREAT to have family around to help, allowing me to rest and Jacob not to have to do it all. And it was just great to see everyone and get to spend time together!

I've got tons more photos from our visit with the Taylor family. And slowly, over the next week or two, I'll get those posted.

Thank you all for coming to visit (and help!). We love you lots, miss you tons and look forward to when we'll get to see you again.
