Jesus Loves Me

It's no secret that Faith loves music - especially dancing to music. But she loves to sing, as well. It's just very rare to catch her in a mood to sing AND she's willing to sing the same song a few times with us. And it's virtually impossible to catch her in one of those moods AND get it on video. She shys away the moment a camera comes our, or even cell phone for that matter. But today, she was in that rare mood. Here is Faith, singing "Jesus Loves Me."  Her brother was proudly in the backgroud rooting her on (you can here him saying "yay" at the end of the video). He still doesn't have all the words down, but he usually loves to shout out "STRONG!" at the end with his sister (but doesn't do so in this clip)

Faith loves to sing about Jesus. When Ruth was born, we missed church for two weeks in a row - which really meant three weeks between visits. The kids really missed going to church. When we told them we were planning to go to church (at the beginning of the year, after 2 weeks off), faith got super excited and shouted, "go sing about Jesus?!" I love that our kids love church - and love Jesus. They don't understand who He is, but they know He loves them. And they're building a foundation of faith that I pray will grow with them for the rest of their lives. I pray Faith never loses her love of praises Jesus' name!
