Working With Grampa

Jacob got Nathan a set of kid-sized tools for Christmas. Real tools that he could use in the shop with Daddy - under supervision, of course. Then we also got Nathan a set of wooden toy kits to use his tools on - things like a race car, birdhouse, airplane, etc.

With Grampa in town, it was a perfect chance to let Grampa & Nathan work on a little project and give Nathan a chance to use his tools for the first time. But, disappointingly, the kits weren't what we expected... they were just meant to be glued together, no tools were really needed. But Nathan wasn't disppointed - he got to watch as Grampa glued a race car together for him. And then the two of them painted it together. Nathan loves the race car he "built"

Nathan's proud of his car - he loves it and remembers he made that car with his Grampa!
