Extended Christmas

While Gramma, Grampa, Uncle Dave, Aunt Kristen & Auntie M all visited over New Years week/weekend, we had an extended Christmas celebration. And lots of presents to open! I think the kids opened something every day that week... lol  They LOVED it. :)

Nathan got a cool truck from his Great Aunt Helen & Great Uncle Mike.

And Faith loves the kitty cat shirt her Great Aunt Helen & Uncle Mike gave her, too!

And she was eagar to put on her her pants right away, then play with the signing Elmo her great aunt & uncle gave her, too. Thank you, Great Aunt Helen & Great Uncle Mike!

There were Dora toys to open - wow!

And big brothers who were a little too eager to steal them... errr... "help". Yeah, that's what he's doing... helping. ha ha

MORE Dora?!! I think the Taylor family knows what Faith loves... hehe
This is a talking leapfrog-like book with different stories to read along with. Faith adores it!

And Nathan LOVES his Thomas train set from Aunt Kristen & Uncle Dave.

The kids weren't the only ones to open awesome presents.
Look what Uncle Dave got from Auntie M?? It's perfect for him :)
Seriously... he said he plans to wear it to work! lol

Nathan wasn't picky about who he "helped"
Here he is helping Auntie M open a gift for Ruth,.
It was baby clothes. They were cute, but I think Nathan was disappointed. In his mind, he probably expected to find toys that he knew he could steal from his baby sister :)

Faith adored her new princess chair from Uncle Dave & Aunt Kristen
and a recordable storybook from her Antie M, too!

Nathan got a cool new book from his Great Aunt MaryBeth & Great Uncle Cliff.

And Faith got a Dora game from Great Aunt MaryBeth & Great Uncle Cliff.
Of course, it was a hit!

When it was Ruth's turn to open another gift, Nathan was right there again.

Although slightly disappointed that it wasn't a toy, either, he was still pretty taken by the cool bibs Ruth got from her Great Aunt MaryBeth & Great Uncle Cliff :)

Gramma got a beautiful necklace from Grampa.
Nathan wasn't impressed - it wasn't a toy he could steal, either. lol
But it was very pretty - good job, Grampa ;)

Grampa got some bacon flavored toothpaste from Jacob... lol
Wrapped in mooning santas wrapping paper.... hahahaha

And if the bacon toothpaste & santa butt cheeks weren't enough...
poor Grampa also got a book from Jacob, too...

"Kama Pootra - 52 mind-blowing ways to poop". hahaha
It got some good laughs. :)
And Grampa still got some good non-prank gifts, too ;)

Auntie M wasnt exempt from the present pranks, either.
Uncle Dave wrapped her DVD gift in 5 or 6 layers of duct tape and bubble wrap... haha

Nathan didn't pay attention to all the pranks,
he was alot more excited to open his giant present from Auntie M.

It was a play workshop! Cool! Then he played his own prank on mommy... He thought it was fun to pile all his wrapping paper on mommy while she was too busy with the baby to stop him. lol

The kids - and adults - all had a fun observed Christmas on New Year's Eve. And a fun week-long Christmas visit with family. There's still lots more stories and pics to come on the blog soon.
