Happy Labor Day!

Well, this morning we said goodbye to Gramma & Grandpa Taylor. Then Jacob mowed grass while Nathan, Tubby & I labored real hard in honor of the holiday... see:After a hard nap's work, we ate, peed and relocated to the living room. Exciting, huh? This is what I found... the kitten, stealing more of the baby's things and working hard himself:
We tried to get Nathan to smile and got a bunch of big wonderful smiles, one after the other. But by the time the camera was aimed his way, he stopped. Of course. We'll keep trying to get some better ones on camera. In the mean time, here's what we did catch:

After all that excitement, Jacob decided it was time to "labor" too -
Nathan, I & all the kitties joined in. What a hard day of work! I hope you got in a good hard earned nap or two... or four today, too :)

Yesterday, was a busier day, full of company and excitement... sadly, no naps. Jacob's Uncle Steve & Aunt Becky came over to visit - and that was better than a nap! They were in town for the weekend (from OH) and it was wonderful to see Nathan's GREAT aunt & uncle! He loved them right away. And I think the feelings were mutual ;-)

Gotta love that look!

Trying to be like Nathan... relaxed and silly :)

Here's some more pictures from the long weekend with
Gramma & Grandpa Taylor:

Her hair is in a bun... she's in a rocking chair...
But I won't dare say she looks like a Gramma!

Grandpa's chest is a favorite place for Nathan to relax!

Such a busy day... he was zonked out by 8pm!
