Feeding the animals.
Watching the deer. I've eatten that.
Feeding the... uh... is it a bison? a yak? Whatever it is, I may have eatten that.
An emu. I've eatten that, too. Tastey.

To bad Jacob wasn't with us to take a picture with his sheep. (note the sign)
This is "Tank" the white rhino. Evidently she was in a recent Flonase commercial. She is a 6,000 lb star.
Its a zonkey! Can you guess what its parents were?
Feeding the giant gerbils. They had another name, I can't remember it.
We saw camels. Did you know they can drink 40 gallons of water in one sitting? And I thought Nathan drank a lot in one feeding!
And we saw Baboon butts. God was feeling awefully creative when he made those!
Then there were the teeth we saw... check out those teeth! Gross!
Are they still called buck teeth when they are on the bottom?

"Dog goats" as our five year old friend called them. They kinda look like dogs, too, don't they? Standing on the fence, begging for attention (and probably food).

Nathan was a big boy, riding in his stroller for the first time (without the car seat). He loved the seeing the animals - his legs were often kicking with excitement. He was wide awake despite not having taken a nap all day long. It was a busy but fun day seeing so many new creatures - and he zonked out as soon as we got home.
