Babies are like Buicks

Well, babies are like any car I guess. Something's wrong... you take it to the professionals and all of the sudden, its running perfectly. Nathan works the same way, evidently.

We had an appointment today to see the doctor - the nurse suggested we come in since he wasn't eating more than 3 oz at a time, and wasn't sleeping more than 2 hours at a time. We got there and he was ALL giggles. He laughed as I undressed him. He giggled loudly as he was weighed. He smiled constantly as the doctor checked him out - except he wasn't so fond of the tongue depresser. No sign of congested lungs. His ears look great. Everything is great. We got home, and 2 hours later... not so great. The cough and sniffles began to return. The doctor gave us some meds to help dry him up - just in case this would be the case. So he took a little before crashing around 9:30pm. Lets hope and pray that we all get to sleep more than every 30 minutes - 2 hours tonight.

Guess how much he weighs? 19 lbs, 13 oz. And that was without any food in his belly for over 4 hours. I think if he was eatting more regularly, he'd have hit the 20 lb mark.

Sorry no pictures, again. I'll post some tomorrow. Jacob took his 2007 Christmas gift "discovery flight" lesson tonight. I got some good pictures, I'll post them Tuesday.
