Our Day in Sedona

Our family rented a home in Sedona, AZ for Thanksgiving week. Even though we've been in Sedona since Tuesday night, we have not gotten to see much of the city because of the rain. But today was gorgeous! Here are some pictures from our day:

The siblings at Slide Rock State Park.

Jacob, holding up the rock.

The view of the mountains from Slide Rock.

Jacob & I. Nathan hung out with Grandpa while we were in the park.

Uncle David... king of the rock.

Mary, my Mom and David. During warmer weather, people can slide down the smooth rocks in the water - some places get pretty deep.

My mom climbed up the rock with Mary & I - go mom!

The love of my life.... What can I say...

He's a hamster.

The drive through Sedona has some pretty spectacular views! Here's snoop rock - its the smaller rock on the right. Can you see snoopy laying on his back? Click on the picture, for a better view.

Our next stop of the day was to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Its a chapel built on the rock. It was pretty neat.

There's Nathan and his daddy, and the view from the chapel.

Can you find the eagle's head in the rock? Click the picture to make it bigger.

Here's Nathan with his daddy by the deer man. If Jacob was a superhero, I think Deer Man would be his name.

Here's where we stayed while in Sedona.

Just kidding... this is really the rental house.

Ok, neither are it. But where we're staying is great! And its been even better to see my whole side of the family for almost a week. We leave Sedona in the morning and head back to Pheonix. My parents will fly out tomorrow and we'll be back in SC on Monday night. The week as gone fast!
