I adore my husband. He is an amazing man of God and an incredible father. But how is he as a children's ministry volunteer...?? he's certainly fun... but I'll let you decide. Here are three things that happened this morning:
1. An 11 year old came to me, our conversation went like this:
"Mrs. Kim! We need help downstairs in children's church can you find some extra help fast?" I look at Jacob, sitting in my office and say: "Theres a man right in this office that I think could help." The boy looks at Jacob then back at me and says, as serious as can be, "No, we need an adult." I about died laughing!
2. Jacob did go down to help with crowd control and later I'm told his group was the only room where the kids were chanting "EAT IT!, EAT IT!, EAT IT!" during snack time. Evidently he was daring a kid to eat a fruit snack dipped in ranch dressing.
3. Jacob helped with a review game after the lesson. His prize to the winner? A giant slab of ice. Yeah. The water in a pitcher froze solid. He gave the kid the giant ice cube and tried to convince him he could take it home. It took three of us, plus the boys father, to convince him that the ice block needed to stay behind. Jacob was all smiles, telling me "You can make anything a prize"
Now you see why the 11 year old didn't think Jacob was adult enough to handle crowd control in children's church??? HA HA HA
Like I said, I LOVE MY HUSBAND! He's the greatest. And he gave me plenty to laugh about this afternoon!

No wonder y'all get along so good... these all sound like something you would do..lol
Both of the boys would have loved to bring home a slab of ice. I'm so glad their not pre-teen yet :)
Sounds like things Corey would do.
