Sunday evening we went out for Father's Day dinner. We went to a local buffet place, Zorro's Buffet. And the kids loved it!!
Faith got to try lemons for the first time, too! Her brother LOVES them. Her father LOVES them. Her mother puckers up at them. So whose footsteps would Faith follow in??

Her mother's! We never got a good photo of her red-faced puckers. But, she kept going after the lemons time and time again. I think she liked the sourness, either that or has a very short-term memory!Faith not only tried lemons for the first time. She tried lots of other foods, too. Mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, oranges, cranberry sauce, mac & cheese, stuffing, jello, banana pudding, etc. And had some old friends, too, like watermelon and green beans. She enjoyed her dinner! She enjoyed wearing it, smearing it, smashing it, tossing it, sitting on it, squeezing it, smushing it, rubbing it in her hair, and anything else she could think to do with it as she ate it.
I wish we'd taken a photo of her without the bib. Her entire bottom was dark pink from sitting on watermelon and carrots. And there was food smeared from one end of her to the other. Nathan's made some good messes in his life. But Faith outdid them all! We all went straight home and took a bath!
