Funtastic Playland

Thursday the kids & I did some damage at Walgreens... getting close to $50 worth of things for FREE - best part? After rebates and register rewards, we'll actually get paid $15 for buying it all ;-) Thats on top of the $19 I made shopping Sunday afternoon when I was kid-free ;-) I know, I try not to talk about couponing on this page... it was easy when I ran the coupon website. But I really do want to convince you all that couponing is easy, addicting, and healthy to your wallet ;-) Is it working??? :)

Anyways - the kids were awesome at Walgreens, so we ventured out to a place I'd seen online. Funtastic Playland. For those friends in SC, it's kind of like Monkey Joes. Only with more climbing playsets and fewer inflatables. And it has an arcade, too.

Both kids had a blast!!! We practically had the place to ourselves - with the exception of the maintenance man's kids - who were all to eager too help show Nathan around. They were cute and it was fun to see Nathan interact with some bigger kids. Well... older kids ;-)

Looks like Nathan is trying to be nice and play with his sister in the tunnel, right?
That's what I thought at first, too.

He was really trying to rush her, and pull her out so HE could play with it...

Nathan LOVED LOVED LOVED the slides - and he had no fear of them - going after the big ones on his own - and climbing ladders like it was second nature to him.

Here's Nathan and his new friends, playing on the castle playset.

And playing on the pirate ship, too

And driving the big 4x4 truck

Faith LOVED the bounce houses. Nathan wasn't too big on them... but he'd go in if she was inside. I worried that she'd get stuck, but she loved every moment of it and never had problems!

This indoor playground is close to Jacob's work. So maybe next time we'll invite Daddy and bring a picnic lunch for him, too ;-)
