Out to Lunch

When we were in San Antonio for my sister-in-law's wedding - way back in 2008 - she took us to this restaurant downtown that had THE BEST tortillas you'll ever have. So of course, now that we live in San Antonio, we had to hunt that restaurant down! And we did just that on a Sunday after church!

There was a long wait, so while we waited, we walked around the mexican market and window-shopped. The little mariachi hats were just the right size for our little mariachi music lover!! But he wasn't so thrilled about wearing one.

Drinking his father's Dr. Pepper while waiting for lunch was much more his idea of fun! We made the mistake of letting him try it. He loved it - and only wanted the soda for the rest of lunch time!

Look at that facial expression... does he look like his Daddy, or what?

Even Faith enjoyed the restaurant - and munched on cheerios and avacado while we enjoyed freshly baked, warm, yummy tortillas!

The only problem?? The tortillas eventually ran out.
But the kids didn't go anywhere - we still get to enjoy them daily :)
