Future Football Star

Saturday evening we killed some time "shopping" at Academy Sports. Our version of "shopping" is walking around the store, checking out the cool stuff, watching Daddy drool over the expensive stuff, and enjoying the free A/C since ours wasn't working!

We found little kid shoulder pads. And just had to let Nathan try them on ;-) This was a Large - they actually had XS, which were just about perfect for his size. NO, Jacob, that doesn't mean we can enroll him in football this fall. Maybe in 18 more years ;)

At the time, I didn't notice the employee in the background... oops. Maybe she agreed that Nathan was the most adorable little football-player-to-be, too, and didn't want to stop our fun :)
